Full House Apr. 13, 2008

We had such a fun weekend. My sister in law, Mandi, and her kids, Taeden, Harli, and Mayci and Grandma Buttars all came and stayed with us Thursday night. It was their spring break so they decide to come and have some fun at our house!

Well...needless to say....Nate and Laci were a little jealous, so they decided to come and stay with us too!! Unfortunately, Nate and Laci arrived after I put the camera away, so I had to steal a picture from their blog. They actually were headed down to St. George for some work meetings and we invited them to stay with us to break up their drive.

Who would have guessed that we could fit so many people in our little house....I hope everyone was comfortable. I was, but then again, I didn't give up my bed!

Here are some pictures of the cousins having a good time at their sleep over.

Kissing cousins...Branson & Harli....I hope Brexton doesn't get too jealous! Bran and Harli had so much fun playing together, they were always following each other around and holding hands. It was so fun and funny to watch them playing together.
Mayci, Harli & Branson
Taeden & Brandon...they had fun playing Sonic on the Sega.
Oh and here is Harli helping me take care of Trey. I must say she will be an awesome baby sitter one day and a great mom! Thanks for all your help, Harli! Especially with getting Trey to smile. He sure loves you!

After having a fun sleep over and waking up to my famous breakfast of milk and cereal! Nate and Laci were on their way to St. George and the rest of us headed to Target, McDonald's, the mall and best of all....Jumpin Jacks! Jumpin Jacks is an indoor family entertainment center with several inflatable play grounds. I took these pictures from their website....I am so bummed I did not take my camera with me. The kids had so much fun, and it was a blast watching them jump and slide and smile and laugh! Even Mandi got in on the fun taking Mayci down one of the slides a few times!

I hope everyone had a good time. I guess it is your turn Ashley, Cody and kids to have a sleep over in good ole' Spanish Fork next!
Our weekend fun didn't stop there even though everyone went home. On Saturday, we got a babysitter again (I still wasn't brave enough to leave Trey) but we had such a fun date. We checked out a Mexican Restaurant in Orem and then went to a place called Color Me Mine. It is a place you can pick out different ceramics and paint them. It was so much fun. I can't wait to pick up our candy dish we designed and painted. We have to wait for them to put it in the furnace and glaze it before we can get it. I definitely think this is a date we will go on again, we really enjoyed it (I would highly recommend it for a date idea). Trey slept the whole time we were there which was nice and even better, Branson was very good for the babysitter and even fell asleep for her! It was a perfect ending to a great date!
To finish off our weekend....we went to ALL of church for the first time since we had Trey! We had been just going to Sacrament Meeting. I decided it was now "safe" to put Branson back in the nursery and I think he is so happy to be going back. I just wish there was a nursery during Sacrament Meeting...it was great to hear Bran screaming "my drink, my drink" during the whole closing prayer! If any of you know a good way to keep your kids quite during church, please let me know!!

Our Weekend Apr. 8, 2008

We had a really nice weekend....It all started with me and Brandon going away for a night at The Zermatt Resort in Midway (near Park City) while my parents watched the kids. They had a lot of fun with Grandma and Grandpa Ketterman...as you can see they played on the swing set for awhile, then blew bubbles, read books and Branson made sure Grandpa stayed alive by being his doctor and giving him countless shots!!!!

Even though the kids had lots of fun with Grandma and Grandpa, they were excited to see us when we got home.

We also were pretty excited to see them as well. But sad that Grandma and Grandpa had to go back home to Ohio when we got back. To ease our sadness we decided to go see the Chipmunks...literally....we went and saw Alvin, Simon, & Theodore perform at the Provo Town Center Mall. It was so much fun to watch them sing and dance...however....I think Brandon and I enjoyed it more than Branson...after all, I think that is our era!

Here is Branson watching the Chipmunks....I think he is more excited about his police sticker on his jacket than the show. You see, almost everyday, when school is getting out a police officer sits in his car across the street from our house (we live in a school zone). Well on this day, the police officer was sitting right in front of our house and since Branson seems to be afraid of the police, we decided to introduce him! So Brandon took him out to meet the police officer, which Branson thought was soooo exciting. And the best part of the whole thing is the police man gave him a sticker which he was very, very proud of! He didn't stop talking about his police sticker for the whole day! (Just wait and see how exciting it is to get a ticket from a police officer, Bran!)
So, for the most part we got our wiggles and jiggles out on Thursday and Friday so on Saturday and Sunday we were able to really enjoy General Conference. It was awesome to sustain a new prophet and really feel the spirit testify that Pres. Monson truly is a prophet of God.

Trey's Baby Blessing and Family Apr. 8, 2008

We had Trey's baby blessing on Saturday, March 29. We did it at our house and were a little nervous about doing it at home...but it was WONDERFUL! We appreciate so much all the family that was able to come and make it such a special day. After the blessing we had a BBQ and then most of us went to the mall and then off to Cabella's to see all the animals. It was such a fun day.

Here is Trey in his way too small blessing outfit! I thought we would bless Trey right after he was born so I bought a new born sized outfit. But we ended up waiting until Grandma and Grandpa Ketterman could come out for the blessing, so hence, the outfit ended up being too small (Trey is no small baby anyway). However, I must say, he still is a pretty handsome little guy!

Trey and Daddy....who by the way, gave a very special blessing.

Easter Bunnies and Babies! Apr. 8, 2008

So my last post really got Brandon's attention...and what do you know...the very next day I had Windows installed on my computer so my pictures aren't sideways....Yeah!!!! So, let the blogging continue!!! Sorry, I'm a little behind. I know Easter was a while ago, but I just had to post these cute pictures of my kids with their bunny ears and the pics of Trey and his cousin Ayda.

We were going to buy Branson some bunny ears for Easter, but while at the store he kept throwing them out the cart (oh, the joys of shopping with a two year old!). So, we didn't buy them...but while he was having a great conversation with his Grandpa Buttars he kept telling him about these bunny ears and he would not be quite about these bunny ears he had seen at the store. So, Brandon and I had some last minute Easter shopping to do, and we found some bunny ears at the dollar store, and we just had to buy them...Funny, Branson wasn't as excited about the bunny ears as I thought he would be...but they made for some cute pictures!

Grandma and Grandpa Buttars go all out for their Easter Egg Hunt...which Branson had a great time at....look at all those eggs...and can you believe Grandma and Grandpa had even more surprises for the kids inside....boy, are the grandkids spoiled!!!! I guess that's one of the joys of being a grandparent.

Trey and Ayda are just the cutest little babies ever! It will be fun to watch them grow up together. Trey is 2 months old and Ayda is 5 months old in these pics.

Sorry Folks....No More Bloggin'

So...Brandon thought he fixed the problem with the pictures being sideways, but he really didn't. And...our computer is rejecting our Windows program. So, until everything is fixed, I REFUSE TO BLOG. I am sad about this, because, I do have some way cute pictures to post. But, it drives me way too crazy to have the pictures sideways. I guess I'll have to resort back to the good ole' days when people did the One Hour Photo at WalMart and put their pictures in an album (or maybe even a scrapbook, if I'm feeling creative)!!!!
