Yeah!!! We've made it 2 weeks and Branson and Trey are both alive and doing well! Trey had his 2 week doctor appt. today and he is a healthy little guy. He now weighs 9 lbs 6 oz and is 21 1/4 inches long....I told you he was a good eater! Also, we are pretty excited that his umbillical cord fell off today...it was getting pretty gross to look at. I really didn't want it to fall off while I was there, but no such luck. It fell off while I was sponge bathing him. I'm excited to be able to give him a real bath now.

Family Pictures
Here are some of our first family pictures. We also included a few pictures of Branson in his new tuxedo from his grandma Ketterman. He sure thought he was pretty cute in it. We thought he looked like a stud too.
We're adjusting pretty good to our new addition. Trey has been a good baby so far. He sleeps pretty good through the night. He's a good eater and hardly ever cries. He's quite different from how his big brother Bran Bran was as a baby. Branson is adjusting well also. During the day Branson is a nearly perfect child. He lets his mommy sleep in and lets her take naps if she needs them. He's good to watch TV and play with his toys by himself. He loves his brother Trey and loves to hold and kiss him. He also loves to comfort him when he does cry.
After being good all day for mommy, Branson's ready for some ruff housing when daddy gets home. I guess that's what daddy's are good for.

Trey Spaulding Buttars
After months living in his mommy's womb, Trey Spaulding Buttars has arrived. It took some mall walking and a burger from Red Robin to make it happen, but he is here.
Trey Spaulding Buttars was born on January 15, 2008 at 1:30am. After his mommy's water broke he headed south. We're glad he did. He was 8 lbs 15 ounces and was 21 inches in length. Branson Kett Buttars, his older brother was 8 lbs 3 ounces and was 21 inches in length. We warned Branson his younger brother might beat him up later in life so hopefully he'll tread lightly on Trey.
He's been well behaved and has not had any type of complications at all. We figure with his size and his name, he's bound for the NBA.
"Sorry mommy, daddy's going to be just as protective with me as he is with Branson when it comes to the manly things. You best not even think about treating me girly in any way because I'm all man."

Branson Pneumonia New Year
Our New Year's was really exciting this year. After a few days of an uncontrollable fever and lack of appetite with Branson, we decided to go to the Emergency Room. They admitted him to the hospital and Branson got to stay for a couple of days. He loved it because of all the toys they gave him. Check out his hospital stay below...
